Mary is a dual-qualified Chartered Legal Executive and Licenced Conveyancer. She is an Associate member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) having Advanced Certificates in Trust Administration, Probate Administration and Will Preparation. Mary is also a fully accredited member of the Solicitors for the Elderly.  She works in the Inheritance Protection department in Fareham and Portsmouth.

Mary can advise on:

  • Will Preparation – advising and drafting Wills for individuals and couples.                                                   
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney – advising on and drafting bespoke documents for both Property and Financial Affairs and Health and Welfare. She also acts as a Certificate Provider and deals with the registration of the LPAs with the Office of the Public Guardian.
  • Grant of Representation– working closely with clients to prepare documents to obtain a Grant of Representation, whether someone dies with or without a Will (intestate) and advising on inheritance tax.
  • Estate Administration – realising the deceased’s assets, settling any liabilities, and distributing the estate to beneficiaries.

Did you Know:

Mary is keen on water sports;  sailing, paddleboarding and surfing. She is also a keen yogi. She has two children and a dog who keep her busy!
