Apprentice Solicitor – Wills & Inheritance Protection
We are seeking an Apprentice Solicitor to join our Wills and Inheritance Protection team. This role offers structured training and practical experience in Private Client work while you complete your legal apprenticeship.
You must have already completed and passed SEQ1. We may offer funding assistance in respect of the preparation course and exam for SEQ2.
Hours: Full-time, 35 per week
Location: In Person
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting Wills, LPAs, trusts, and general private client documents.
- Support fee earners with probate applications, estate administration, and client file management.
- Carry out legal research and help prepare correspondence, attendance notes, and client ready documentation.
- Attend client meetings and support the taking of instructions.
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance and administrative processes.
Skills & Experience
- Eligibility for a solicitor apprenticeship route (passed SEQ1)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Interest in Private Client work, including wills, probate, and estate planning.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and willing to learn case management systems.
Lawyer/Conveyancer - Residential Property Team
Location: Newport, Isle of Wight (with Relocation)
Hours: Full-time, 35 per week
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Residential Property Lawyer or Conveyancer to join our dynamic and fast-paced Residential Property Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to handle a varied caseload of residential transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages.
