Court of Protection Lawyer, Portsmouth

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Lawyer at our Head Office to assist with setting up Contested Mental Capacity Department alongside the Head of Mental Health Department.
The Ideal Candidate
A Solicitor or Legal Executive experienced in Court of Protection matters and the ability to run their own caseload, who is dynamic, pro-active, enthusiastic, has excellent client care skills and the ability to promote the department and expand the current workload.
Ideally having membership of Law Society Mental Capacity panel (ALR) or an interest in applying to do this accreditation and experience in conducting Section 21A applications and other contested mental capacity work.
Salary & Benefits

We are happy consider flexible working and some home working and provide infrastructure such as laptop and iPhone to allow integration from home base into our office systems.
This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week, but we are also prepared to consider a part-time role for the right candidate.
