Tasha Bibby
Tasha is a Chartered Legal Executive who has worked in law since 2008.
Tasha became a CILEX Fellow in July 2025 and when she is not travelling around to visit the clients, she continues to work within our Court of Protection team and is based at our Port Solent Office.
Tasha can advise on:
- Deprivation of Liberty - when a person without capacity is living at a care home or hospital and they don’t wish to stay, she can act in a s21a application for this to be reviewed in their best interests;
- Residence and Care – disputes around where it is in a person’s best interests to be living, where they are not currently in a care home or hospital, what support they need of whether the support in place could be made less restrictive;
- Contact Disputes – when there is a dispute as to whether a person without capacity should be in contact with others;
- Internet/Social Media – when a person may lack capacity to be able to use the internet or social media and decisions need to be made to support them with this or to restrict their use of this;
- Sexual Relations – when a person may lack capacity to engage in sexual relations and decision needs to be made in relation to this; and
- Other – any other application under s16 of the Mental Capacity Act.
Away from the desk:
Outside of the office, Tasha enjoys spending time outdoors, with her friends (and their dogs!) or dabbling in creative pursuits.
