This proactive review is designed to ensure that the Wills we hold remain accurate, up to date, and aligned with your wishes or the intentions of a deceased individual.

About the Will Cleanse Initiative

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing reliable and efficient legal services, Biscoes is currently reviewing all Wills stored in our archive. This process, known as a Will Cleanse, is being carried out in collaboration with EstateSearch to ensure that:

• Wills held by our firm or its predecessor practices are still valid and reflect current wishes.
• Personal details such as addresses, Executors, and beneficiaries are accurate.
• Any superseded or outdated Wills can be securely destroyed in line with legal requirements; and
• Executors or Personal Representatives can access Wills when needed, helping to support estate administration.

Whether you are a current Will holder or a person managing the estate of someone who has passed away, this initiative is intended to bring peace of mind, reduce delays, and ensure clarity in the administration of estates.

To participate, please complete the relevant form:

• Will Cleanse Online Reply Form – For Completion by the Will Holder
• Will Cleanse Online Reply Form – For Completion by the Occupant of the Property or the Executor of the Deceased's Estate

Why This Is Important

Life circumstances change over time. Marriage, divorce, new family members, or changes in financial status can all affect how your estate should be managed. Similarly, ensuring that a Deceased’s Will is located and made available to the appropriate representative helps prevent confusion, disputes, or delays during probate.

Our Will Cleanse aims to:

• Confirm the ongoing relevance of Wills in our possession.
• Support Executors and Solicitors in administering estates effectively.
• Ensure documents are only held when necessary and in the best interests of the client or their estate.
