Sally Allen
Sally is a Trainee in Biscoes' Employment team and one of the leads of our Diversity and Equality Committee.
Passionate about promoting inclusion and raising awareness of disability issues, she is a dedicated disability advocate who regularly takes part in charity events and shares her personal experiences to help educate and support others.
Alongside her legal work, Sally is committed to helping clients navigate complex matters with practical, straightforward advice. With a particular interest in Employment and discrimination law, she enjoys keeping up to date with legal developments and emerging workplace issues, while championing equality both within and beyond the workplace.
Areas of Expertise
- Employment Advice - Sally works on a broad range of workplace issues, supporting both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She assists with the drafting of staff handbooks, employment contracts and other key employment documentation.
- Settlement Agreements - Sally supports employers with the drafting of settlement agreements and advises on the relevant procedural requirements. She also assists employees through the settlement agreement process, supporting the team in providing the necessary independent legal advice.
- Civil Litigation - Sally has experience supporting the preparation and management of litigation matters, including legal research, drafting documents and assisting with case management.
- Landlord and Tenant Disputes - Sally has worked on landlord and tenant litigation matters, helping both landlords and tenants resolve a range of property-related disputes.
- Contested Probate - Sally has also gained experience in inheritance disputes, assisting with contested probate and estate-related litigation matters.
Beyond the Desk
Outside of work, Sally is a keen runner who regularly takes part in charity events and enjoys setting herself new personal challenges. Her commitment to advocacy, combined with her growing legal expertise, reflects her dedication to supporting clients and making a positive difference in the community.
