Abbie Grinsell

Abbie Grinsell is a Solicitor in Biscoes' Inheritance Protection Team, providing clear, practical advice on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration and inheritance tax planning. She works closely with clients to help them plan for the future with confidence.

Abbie advises clients on a wide range of private client matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax planning, estate administration, declarations of trust and lifetime gifting. She works with individuals and families to ensure their affairs are structured in a way that protects their interests and provides peace of mind for the future. 

Since beginning her legal career in 2017, Abbie has developed extensive experience in private client law. After working as a Private Client Paralegal, she joined Biscoes' Inheritance Protection Team in 2021. She qualified as a Solicitor in October 2023 and has since managed her own caseload while assisting senior colleagues on complex estate matters. She returned to Biscoes in 2026, having further developed her experience at other Hampshire firms. 

Abbie has experience working on high-value and complex estates, including matters involving offshore assets, significant inheritance tax considerations and intricate estate planning arrangements. She has also assisted clients with agricultural and business property relief planning, helping families preserve wealth for future generations. 

Clients value Abbie's honest approach, strong work ethic and ability to explain legal matters in a clear and understandable way. She believes in providing straightforward advice that gives clients confidence in the decisions they make about their affairs and the future of their loved ones. 

Outside of work, Abbie enjoys travelling and has visited more than a dozen countries, with many more destinations on her wish list. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and values the welcoming culture that brought her back to Biscoes.
