The Innovator Founder Visa route is aimed at start-up entrepreneurs and experienced businesspersons seeking to establish a business in the UK.
There is no requirement to have any specific level of funds to invest in their proposed business, but they must have an innovative, viable and scalable business idea, supported by a business plan, which has been approved by an endorsing body.
To be eligible under this route, you must meet the following criteria;
- show new - you cannot join a business that is already trading
- innovative - you must have an original business idea which is different from anything else on the market
- viable, with potential for growth
- scalable - you must give evidence of planning that includes creating jobs and growing into national and international markets
To apply for this role, you must
- be 18 years or over.
- Intend to establish and run an innovative business in the UK
- Have endorsement for your business or business idea
- Meet the English language proficiency requirements
- Have enough funds to support yourself in the UK
