Front of House Administrator – Gosport office

The role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Front of House Administrator to be responsible for the greeting and farewell of all clients and visitors to the office. You will manage any issues that arise during each day promptly and professionally. The role will also entail administrative support to fee-earners including file opening and closing in line with compliance requirements, typing of correspondence, scanning of important documents and ensuring that all files are kept in order. The successful candidate will be a team player that thrives in an environment of shared goals and achievements to ensure the ongoing success of the Firm. The delivery of outstanding client service at all times is paramount.

                     

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a experience of having worked within a reception environment, preferably for a law firm. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing first class customer service and has the following:

  • Strong and efficient admin skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Confident personality and positive approach to the role
  • IT literate – Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure
  • Previous experience in supporting legal departments

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.

Legal Assistant/Paralegal – Conveyancing – North End

The Firm

The role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our Residential Conveyancing Department to be based at our North End office. Working directly with the Head of Department you will support them in all day to day activities to include typing of correspondence, liaising with clients, other firms and estate agents, scanning of important documents, providing and follow up of estimates to clients, preparing draft documentation/letters for approval, assisting with updating Lender Exchange, LMS Legal Stars (training will be provided) and ensuring that all files are kept in order in accordance with the agreed Conveyancing Department Protocol, compliant with CQS and Lexcel quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate

An experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal who is pro-active, has excellent client care skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision and has the following:

  • Previous experience of conveyancing procedures for both Freehold and Leasehold properties
  • Previous knowledge of reviewing contract papers and raising enquiries
  • Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Fast, accurate typing ability
  • IT literate – Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience of using a case management system (although not essential as training will be provided)

Legal Secretary – Commercial Property – North End office

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a legal secretary working with a fee earner specialising in commercial property. Supporting them in all day to day activities to include typing of correspondence, liaising with clients, other firms and agents, scanning of important documents, post-completion work including Land Registry applications, stamp duty land tax (and other online applications) and ensuring that all files are kept in order and compliant with Lexcel quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate

A legal secretary who is pro-active, has excellent client care skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and has the following:

  • Previous experience of commercial conveyancing procedures
  • Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Fast, accurate typing ability
  • IT literate – Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
