The Home Office has introduced new Immigration rules on 11th April 2024 increasing the minimum income threshold for a Spouse or Partner visa which has risen from £18,600 to £29,000, with further rises to come in late 2024 and early 2025. Although there are transitional arrangements in place for the people who are already in the UK. However, new entry clearance applications must meet the latest rules. To meet new financial requirements through savings, this will have a significant impact on applicants and sponsors as the previous savings required was £62,500 which has been increased to £88,500.
