Kristy originally started working as a fee earner for King & Franckeiss Solicitors in September 1993. She has been with Biscoes Solicitors since October 1998 and specialises in family law dealing with divorce, finances and private children law matters including residence, contact, prohibited steps and specific issue applications.
In May 2008 she became the first Legal Executive in Hampshire to obtain higher rights of audience in family proceedings and only one of 6 in the country to do so at that time. This enables her to not only deal with County Court matters before District Judges which she has done throughout the time she has been practising, but also Family Proceedings Court matters and matters in open Court in the County Court before Circuit Judges.
She has dealt with cases where the Official Solicitor has been involved, as well as cross-border matters with Scotland, together with a significant number of cases of Ancillary Relief (financial and property) matters where there are significant assets, to include pension provision, properties etc.
Kristy is also a Full Member of Resolution whose are Family Lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes and follow a Code of Practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems.
Away from work, Kristy keeps herself occupied with the "usual" hobbies of reading, cinema and music.
