Kevin was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives on 11th June 2001. He has been employed in the legal profession since he left school at 16 years of age and earned his qualifications while working and therefore has 25 years practical experience in the law.
He has been employed at Biscoes since March 1998 having also worked at a local authority and therefore has knowledge of local government processes. Throughout his career he has been conducting a wide range of contentious matters and has an extensive knowledge of the practical/court processes involved in conducting claims. In addition of course he has a broad knowledge of the law.
In particular he specialises in Personal injury claims, including accidents at work, occupiers and public liability claims and accidents involving members of the armed forces; in addition he undertakes all landlord and tenant claims, cohabitation disputes, including disputes under the Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act, debt, contract, consumer disputes and contested probate matters.
He also advises and represents service personnel in Court Martial matters.
He has an extensive experience of appearing before judges and conducting litigation as well as conducting alternative dispute resolution processes including round table meetings and mediations.
Outside work Kevin enjoys music, reading, keeping fit and most sport, although watching rather than participating more these days. He remains a keen follower of Portsmouth Football club and spent a six month secondment period working at the club and undertaking and providing all aspect of legal advice during the firm’s sponsorship of the club.
