Joint Partner in charge of the Civil Litigation Department and specialising in Personal Injury claims.
For the first 15 years of his career Richard worked for major insurance companies and local authorities defending all manner of personal injury claims. Although still engaged in defense work, in the last 5 years he has concentrated on acting for Claimants, particularly Claimants who have sustained serious injury in road traffic accidents, accidents at work including repetitive strain injuries, stress and disease related claims as well as public liability claims.
Outside of work Richard devotes his time to his family and maintaining his home and garden, when not off sailing in Chichester harbour.

Jean Evans is the Managing Partner of Biscoes and partner in charge of the Wills, Probate, Criminal and Trust Department She also deals with Divorce, Family and Children applications.
Her hobbies include music and travel. She is Chairman of Age Concern, Portsmouth and on the Board of Trustees of The Salvation Army, Portsmouth. She is a member of the Family Law Panel as well as Resolution formerly SFLA.

As joint Partner in charge of the Civil Litigation Department, Geoffrey is a member of the Law Society Specialist Personal Injury Panel, a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a member of the Association of Military Court Advocates. He is an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, having qualified with CEDR in 1999. Geoffrey undertakes specialist work with the Armed Forces having spent some 23 years serving with the Reserve and Regular Forces. He has wide experience of dealing with Employer Liability Claims on behalf of Trade Unions and advises extensively in relation to Civil Employment, Military Employment and Administrative Procedures for all three Services. He is a former national Chairman of the Forces Legal Network (“Forces Law”).
Geoffrey has extensive experience of Charities and Charity Law, and for many years has been a Trustee of several large and well known charities in South East Hampshire.

Michael is the Partner in charge of the Family Law Department. He is a member of the Law Society's Children and Family Law Panels and engages in a wide variety of family work. He is also an Accredited specialist with The Solicitors Family Law Association(now Resolution) in the field of ancillary relief and children's law.
In his spare time Michael enjoys travelling to South America, taking walks along Southsea sea-front, sailing and practicing his culinary skills.

Peter qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and has a Masters Degree in Labour, Law & Industrial Relations. He is a member of the Child Care and Personal Injury Panel together with the Solicitors Family Law Association and is a School Governor. He was a part-time lecturer at the University of Portsmouth in employment and contract and he has formerly been an external tutor to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He has been chairman of the trustee board of the Citizens Advice Bureau.
His interests include carpentry and plumbing.
