Military Law

Biscoes have been in the forefront of providing Legal Advice and Assistance to the Armed Forces for well over 60 years.

We undertake Advice Clinics in various Service Establishments with the approval of Higher Authority.

We are a leading member of the Forces Legal Network (“Forces Law”) - a network of independent firms of solicitors who have specialist knowledge of a wide range of legal services which apply to the Armed Forces - and participate in the Advice Service which is provided through the Forces Law Call Centre to personnel throughout the world.

We have experience of dealing with the particular legal needs of Service Personnel and understand the difficulties that can be caused by aspects of service life such as mobility, separation from families, frequent relocation and service rules.

We are able to give advice and assistance to Service Personnel throughout the world and we provide legal assistance to members of both Regular and Reserve Forces, serving and retired, together with the Civil Servants who support them.

In conjunction with the SaBRE Campaign we support Britain’s Reservists and Employers.

We can help with Courts Martial and Disciplinary Procedures. We have successfully conducted proceedings for Reservists returning to civilian employment following a period of mobilised service and whose Employers have wrongfully prevented their return to their work, and have pursued and defended complicated personal injury claims including claims for bullying, assault as well as accident claims.
